Birds Nest

These tables were tired and sad looking, the glass was missing from one and filthy on the others and the original leather was was badly stained, they were in much need of renovating. I started stripping them back, removing the leather, cleaning and having a new piece of glass cut. Instead of the leather I chose a pretty yellow bird paper to go under the glass. I then toned this with a pale blue chalk paint all over, then touched the edges with gold hints, which really set off these stunning tables.
