BlueNest

I'm so pleased with these little beauties! They came to me looking old and tired, but with a bit of TLC they were brought back to life. I began by sanding them a little, just to roughen up the surface for the paint to stick, I had this beautiful shade of deep blue which I painted all over. I then decided they needed something to lift and contrast with the blue, I had already used the yellow and blue on my wheelie table, but it was such a lovely combination I decided to use it again. I finished off by putting on 3 coats of Polyvine wax varnish in the dead flat finish. I think you'll agree that they are rather lovely!
