My lovely friend Cath, who I've known for 12 years, we worked with at Milefield Primary school and actually started on the same day! Well, she loves my new business, so much so that she entrusted me to re-refine her dining table and chairs.
She has had this table for 28 years and it was given to her by her aunt who'd had it for years before her, lots of special memories have happened around this table. However, it really was ready to have some new life breathed into it.
The style of the table was really unusual with all three parts of the top lifting off and yet all sliding cleverly back together. The chairs needed a little TLC, but nothing that a little wood glue and filler couldn't sort. Having discussed it with Cath, I chose to use Rustolem's Mineral Grey satin finish on the chairs and the base and then after rubbing the top down I finished it off with several coats of a clear satin varnish. She absolutely loves her transformed new/old table and I am very happy with another satisfied customer.
Mandy I love it x So many happy memories of being seated around the table with family/friends at dinnertim/parties.
